The MLabs Coagulation Laboratory will resume ADAMTS-13 Activity and reflex ADAMTS-13 Inhibitor testing effective July 30, 2024, utilizing the DiaPharma ELISA test methodology that will provide less interference especially for patients with hyperbilirubinemia, which can be seen in patients with TPP. With the test methodology change the order codes, reference ranges, and reporting units will be updated. Specimen collection and handling requirements and billing will not change.
New Reference Range:
ADAMTS-13 Activity: >0.60 IU/mL
ADAMTS-13 Inhibitor: <0.5 BU
