Serologies for TTP, aHUS, HUS. Test is a panel of: CH50eq, APFA, Hemolytic assay, FHAA, C3, C4, FB, Ba, Bb, C5, sol. C5b-9, FD FI and FH levels, properdin, Factor B Autoantibody (FBAA) and a fluid-phase activity assay

Collection

Collect BOTH a red top tube AND an EDTA lav top tube. Spin and aliquot into a screw capped plastic tubes. Be sure to label aliquots as SERUM or PLASMA. (testing will be canceled if this is not done) If offsite, freeze samples and send to Specimen Processing.

3 mL serum AND 3 mL EDTA plasma
