Chemiluminescent Immunoassay (CLIA)

Test Usage

To automatically reflex LH (luteinizing hormone) testing when an adult male testosterone value is less than or equal to 300.00 ng/dL. No reflexive testing is performed if ordered on a female patient, or if adult male testosterone is >300.00 ng/dL.

Collection Instructions

Collect specimen in a red top or SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and refrigerate up to 48 hours or freeze for longer storage.
