    Collect specimen in an ACD soln A tube. Do not spin, and keep at room temperature. Send to Specimen Processing. Please read carefully: Do not draw on Friday.
    Specimen must be to Hopkins within 72 hours of collection.
    Draw Mon-Wed anytime.
    Draw on Thurs before 1pm and send with a stat driver to SP.
    Do not draw on Friday.
    May be drawn late in the day on Saturday or Sunday any time if needed, it will make the 72 hours.

    Special Handling

    Strict room temp! Please read the below carefully:
    Specimen must be to Hopkins within 72 hours of collection.

    Alternate Specimen
    EDTA is acceptable in worst case scenarios, it can provide suboptimal results
