Collection Instructions

Collect specimen in a green top tube following an overnight (12-14 hour) fast. Patient should abstain from taking vitamin supplements for 24 hours prior to specimen collection. Centrifuge in a 4 degree centrifuge within 2 hours, aliquot plasma into plastic vial, and freeze. Protect specimen from light.
