Piccolo Xpress Chemistry Analyzer- spectrophotometry
Performed at authorized locations by point of care operators. Aids in the diagnosis of a wide variety of physiological disorders, see the Piccolo Basic Metabolic and Comprehensive panel test procedure for analyte specific information. Analytes included: Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Total Carbon Dioxide, Glucose, Total Calcium, Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Creatinine, Alkaline Phosphatase, ALT, AST, Total Bilirubin, Albumin, Total Protein.

•Specimen must be collected in a lithium heparin tube/syringe.
•Specimens must be free of clots and fibrin.
•Samples that are grossly hemolyzed and/or lipemic should be tested via an alternative method.
