Specimen Requirements
Collection Instructions

Collect specimen in yellow top (ACD) solution A or B tube. Send intact specimen at room temperature within 24 hours of collection. Specimens are accepted at Mayo Monday through Wednesday only and must be received by performing laboratory within 72 hours of collection (specimen must be received by MLabs by 6:00 pm, Monday or Tuesday only). Include bleeding clinical history, recent PT, PTT, CBC, and other coagulation study results if available.
