Test Usage
Evaluation of phosphorus metabolism, calcium/phosphorus balance. Abnormal serum phosphate levels are commonly seen in kidney, bone and parathyroid diseases.
Reference Range *
<1 year: 4.8 - 7.0 mg/dL, 1-4 years: 3.8 - 5.8 mg/dL, 5-11 years: 3.5 - 5.6 mg/dL, 12-150 years: 2.7 - 4.6 mg/dL.
