Collect specimen in a lavender top tube. Freeze and send intact whole blood to Specimen Processing.
Frozen: 180 days (Preferred). Refrigerated: 14 days and Ambient: 72 hours.

Rejection Criteria
Ambient specimens are not acceptable.

Storage Temperature
Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 6 months.
