Therapeutic Levels: 10-20 mcg/mL (adults), 5-20 mcg/mL (children), Toxic levels: greater than 30 mcg/mL.

Collection Instructions

Collect blood in a red top tube; do not use SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial, and refrigerate.

Alternate Specimen
Green top tube (heparin).
Rejection Criteria
SST tube not acceptable.
