Collection Instructions

Place body fluid in a lavender top (EDTA) tube or clean, leakproof container.
Collect random urine sample in a plastic urine cup or yellow top no additive urine Vacutainer® tube.
For optimal results, specimen should reach laboratory within 1 hour of collection. If specimen must be stored, refrigeration is recommended. Specimen must be received within 24 hours of collection.
