Collection Instructions

Collect specimen in a red top or SST tube. Spin and aliquot into a screw capped plastic tube. Send to Specimen Processing refrigerated.

Contraindications

Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) treatment prior to the serum collection may cause a false-positive result.
