Specimen Requirements
Collection Instructions

Collect specimen in a green top tube from patient AND the normal control participant. Rubber band the tubes together and refrigerate immediately. They must be kept together as they must be exposed to temperature changes in the same fashion. Write "Normal Control" only on the label of that tube. (no patient identifiers)

Special Handling

Rubber band patient specimen and control vial together. Control must accompany the patient sample at all times to ensure the reliability of testing results.
