    Collection Instructions

    Collect specimens from mother AND father. Plain label father's specimens, but put in the bag WITH the mother's specimens. Tubes needed are 3 (or 2) 10 mL ACD-A tubes, plus 2 (or 1) 10mL red top for mother. Father needs 3 (or 2) 10 mL ACD-A tubes. Send tubes to Specimen Processing refrigerated. ACD tubes must be received by Versiti within 4 days of collection. If collecting on a Friday, be sure tubes will be received at ULNC by 4pm in order to make FedEx pickup. (a stat courier may be needed)

    Special Handling

    Note: both ACD-A and Red top tubes are needed from the mother.
