    Collect specimen in sufficient yellow top (ACD) solution A or EDTA tubes. Send specimen at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or freeze.

    Normal Volume

    Full tube ACD (solution A) or EDTA whole blood; additional specimen may be required for patients with extremely low white cell counts.

    5 mL ACD (solution A) or 3 ml EDTA whole blood

    Frozen samples, mislabeled samples, samples that do not have the required two patient identifiers.
