Specimen Requirements
Collect specimen in sufficient yellow top (ACD) solution A, EDTA, or buccal swabs. Send intact specimens at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
10 mL ACD (solution A), EDTA or heparin whole blood, 4 buccal swabs. Patients with extremely low white counts may require additional specimen.
5 mL ACD (solution A), EDTA or heparin whole blood,or 2 buccal swabs. Patients with extremely low white counts may require additional specimen.
