Specimen Requirements
Collection Instructions

Collect blood in a SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and refrigerate. For maximum clinical significance, usual sampling times are Peak: 0.5 to 1 hour after the end of a 30 minute I.V. infusion (one hour following I.M. administration) or Trough: immediately before next dose is given. Indicate whether specimen is Peak, Trough, or Random level.
