Reference Range *

Adult Male: 1.5 - 10.0 mIU/mL; Adult Female: follicular phase: 2.0 - 12.0 mIU/mL; midcycle: 5.0 - 24.0 mIU/mL; luteal phase: 1.5 - 10.0 mIU/mL; post-menopausal: 21.0 - 131.0 mIU/mL.

Collection Instructions

Collect specimen in a red top or SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and refrigerate up to 48 hours or freeze for longer storage.
