This is a pharmacogenomics test associated with 5-fluorouracil and capecitabine drug sensitivity. Biallelic variation in the DPYD gene is also associated with dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) deficiency.

    3 mL blood, full tube of saliva, 100 mcL DNA
    Minimum Volume
    0.45 mL blood, full tube saliva, 100 mcL of DNA
    Storage Temperature
    Blood- ambient preferred refrigerated acceptable, Saliva Ambient only, DNA Frozen preferred ambient and refrigerated acceptable.
