    Collect 5 mg of small bowl through endoscopy. Place the tissue on the wall of a small tube or sterile cup. Do not place the tissue on gauze, filter paper, or toothpick, and do not use any kind of support medium. Freeze immediately using dry ice and cooler obtained from Sendouts in Specimen Processing. Return cooler to Specimen Processing for order entry.

    Special Handling

    Mott OR will come to pick up an empty cooler with dry ice before the procedure, and return the cooler, dry ice and specimen to sendouts once the procedure is complete.
