Collection Instructions
Collect blood or bone marrow in an EDTA lav top tube. Send to Mayo in the original tube, do not aliquot. Label as blood or bone marrow. Send to Specimen Processing ambient
Normal Volume
3 mL blood, 2 mL bone marrow, 10-20 slides, entire specimen extracted DNA
Minimum Volume
Whole blood or bone marrow 1 mL; extracted DNA 50 mcl of at least 20 ng per mcl.
