Collection Instructions

Call MLabs at 800-862-7284 to order Royal Blue (trace element) Vacutainer® tubes and/or Metal-Free Aliquot Transfer Tubes. Collect specimen in a royal blue top (trace element) tube with EDTA (K2). Centrifuge and remove plasma within 2 hours of collection (KEEP red blood cells). Leave RBCs in original royal blue top tube (replacing original stopper). Refrigerate

Must be spun and aliquotted within 2 hours. Leave RBCs in original royal blue top tube (replacing original stopper). Specimen cannot be shared with other metals testing
