Specimen Requirements
Collect specimen in a green top tube from a fasting patient (8 hour fast). Place on wet ice immediately. Centrifuge, aliquot plasma into a plastic tube and freeze within 3 hours of collection.
Fasting specimen. Place on wet ice immediately. Must be spun and frozen within 3 hours.
