Specimen Requirements
Collection Instructions
Collect 4-5 mL whole blood in EDTA, ACD or PPT tube. Spin and aliquot onto a screw capped plastic tube. Send to Specimen Processing room temp. (can be frozen for storage longer than 7 days)
Special Handling
Store room temp if will arrive at Viracor within 7 days. Ship frozen if it will be longer than that.
