Collection Instructions

Collect blood in a red top tube; do not use SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into plastic vial and refrigerate. Protect specimen from light. Decomposition will occur if specimen is stored under fluorescent lights at room temperature for more than 1 day.
