Test Usage

To aid in the diagnosis of hepatolenticular degeneration (Wilson's disease), in which serum levels are depressed.

Reference Range *

Female: 18 - 42 mg/dL; Male: 16 - 36 mg/dL.

Collect specimen in an SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and refrigerate up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
