Test Usage

Monitoring compliance with buprenorphine therapy and identification of specimen adulteration intended to mimic compliance with prescribed buprenorphine.

Reference Range *

Negative

Positive results for buprenorphine and/or metabolites concentration are reported quantitatively. The concentration value must be greater than or equal to the cutoff to be reported as positive.

Cutoff Concentration:
Buprenorphine: 5 ng/mL
Norbuprenorphine: 5 ng/mL
Buprenorphine Glucuronide: 5 ng/mL
Norbuprenorphine Glucuronide: 5 ng/mL
