    Collect CSF in sterile collection tube in LP kit (tube #3 or 4 must be dedicated to Belay testing). Maintain at AMBIENT temperature. Specimen can be shipped same day Monday - Friday up until 5pm. Belay does accept Saturday deliveries, but it can also be stored refrigerated over the weekend and shipped ambient on the next Monday, within 3 days of collection.

    Special Handling

    Special shipping kit provided by Belay must be used. It has a sensor to monitor temperature control. Neuro Oncology clinic to be provided kits as well.
    Sendouts- Bill to institution using our ARUP account number (send an ARUP req as well with the sample) Call ARUP for further instructions before shipping, they will provide paperwork to go with the sample
