Specimen Requirements
Collection Instructions

Collect specimen in an SST tube. Samples may be stored up to 3 days at 20-25C, or for up to 7 days at 2-8C. For long term storage, freeze at -20C for up to 30 days. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and refrigerate. Grossly hemolyzed, icteric or lipemic samples are not acceptable for testing.

Red top or Green top (sodium or lithium heparin) tube.
