Additional Information

Test includes Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Proteotype and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Serum. If the mass spectrometry proteotype and quantitative serum level are discordant, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Phenotyping (A1APR) will be performed at an additional charge. By ordering this test the clinician acknowledges that additional reflex testing will be performed and billed at a separate additional charge if indicated. Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Phenotyping (A1AP) (Mayo A1APP) is also available individually. Test sent to Mayo Medical Laboratories.
