Test Usage

Measures donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA), an indicator of lung injury. Used to determine active rejection for management of kidney transplant patients.

    Collect in kit provided by patient. Send blood tubes PLUS all other materials at room temperature to Specimen Processing.

    Special Handling

    The tubes in the kit CANNOT be tubed through the pneumatic tube system

    20 mL whole blood
    Minimum Volume
    4 mL whole blood (Peds patients)
    Storage Temperature
    Keep kit ambient. It can be held over the weekend in sendouts and shipped on Monday if a test is collected on a Saturday or Sunday. Specimens are stable for 7 days
