The following changes will be made to the Movement Disorder, Autoimmune Evaluation, Serum, assay performed by Mayo Clinic Laboratories effective October 13, 2026:

 

The following tests will be added to the panel:

  • Collapsin Response-Mediator Protein-5 Neuronal (CRMP-5-IgG), Serum (CRMS)
  • Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor-5 (mGluR5) IgG, Tissue Immunofluorescence, Serum (GL5IS)
  • Ma2 Antibody, ELISA, Serum (MA2ES)

 

The following tests will be removed from the panel:

  • Collapsin Response-Mediator Protein-5-IgG, Western Blot, Serum (CRMWS)
  • Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein Alpha Subunit Antibody, Immunofluorescence, Serum (GFAIS)
  • Neuronal Intermediate Filament IgG, Immunofluorescence, Serum (NIFIS)

 

The following tests will be added to the reflex algorithm:
