The following changes will be made to the Movement Disorder, Autoimmune Evaluation, CSF, assay performed by Mayo Clinic Laboratories effective October 13, 2026:

 

The following tests will be added to the panel:

  • Collapsin Response-Mediator Protein-5 Neuronal (CRMP-5-IgG), Spinal Fluid (CRMC)
  • Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor-5 (mGluR5) IgG, Tissue Immunofluorescence, Spinal Fluid (GL5IC)
  • Ma2 Antibody, ELISA, Spinal Fluid (MA2EC)

 

The following test will be removed from the panel:

  • Collapsin Response-Mediator Protein-5-IgG, Western Blot, Spinal Fluid (CRMWC)
