Please note that the MLabs Clinical Laboratory Campylobacter Culture is down effective July 9, 2026, due to a culture media shortage. In addition, the Aerobic Culture, Stool (order code STL) test will not include screen for Campylobacter during the down time.
The recommended alternative if Campylobacter is clinically indicated is the Mid Gastrointestinal Pathogen Panel (order code MIDGI). The MIDGI utilizes the same transport (Cary-Blair stool culture transport) (orange top) as the CAMP and STL assays and can be added on to an existing STL order if needed.
