Prometheus IBD Precis assay is available effective December 17, 2025. This test replaces the Prometheus IBD sgi Diagnostic assay (order code IBDSD) (Prometheus 1800). IBD Precis assay is a serological aid in the identification, classification, and clinical assessment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and is used to help distinguish IBD from non-IBD and differentiate Crohn’s disease (CD) from ulcerative colitis (UC).
Collection Instructions: Collect specimen in an SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot 2 mL (minimum 1 mL) of serum into a plastic vial, and refrigerate.
