MICHIGAN MEDICINE PROOFPOINT SECURE EMAIL
At Michigan Medicine, security and the protection of customer data is one of our highest priorities. Our aim is to always deliver a safe and secure experience, including when we communicate confidential information.
Effective December 11, 2025, Michigan Medicine has transitioned to Proofpoint encryption email for improved security against electronic eavesdropping, tampering and mail forgery. External recipients of encrypted emails will need to register with Proofpoint (creating a username and password) to view encrypted messages. This password will be used to access future encrypted messages.
