Effective Wednesday, October 29, Care Everywhere functionality will now include organizations that participate with TEFCA. TEFCA is a network that helps connect EHRs around the U.S, including non-Epic institutions and smaller health practices that do not participate with Epic. There is a potential for more returned queries due to the expanded customer directory under TEFCA. Otherwise, the user experience and workflows follow what is typical when using Care Everywhere in the patient chart.
