Due to limited clinical utility for the screening methodology for Mayo Clinic Laboratories profile component, CRMWS: Collapsin Response-Mediator Protein-5-IgG, Western Blot, Serum, testing will not be performed. When specimens arrive at Mayo Clinic Laboratories all samples will be screened by our confirmatory method, Indirect Immunofluorescence Assay (IFA) and, if reactive, CRMTS: Collapsin Response-Mediator Protein-5 (CRMP-5) Neuronal IgG Titer, Serum will be reflexed as noted in the algorithm. Specimens currently pending will be finalized without this component. The duration of this component test down will be >30 days. A notification will be sent when testing resumes.
