New test components and a new reflex algorithm will be added to Mayo Clinic Laboratories Cutaneous Immunofluorescence Antibodies, Serum assay effective June 10, 2025.
Current test components include Cell Surface Antibody IgG, Basement Membrane IgG, Primate Esophagus IgG, and Primate Split Skin, IgG. New test components will include Cell Surface Antibody IgG, Basement Membrane IgG, Primate Split Skin, IgG, Cell Surface Antibody IgG4, Basement Membrane IgG4, and Primate Split Skin IgG4.
If IgG anti-cell surface or anti-basement membrane zone antibodies are present, then the IgG antibody titer (test ID CIFST) (CPT 88346, 88350) will be reflexed and performed at an additional charge.
