Effective June 4, 2024, the following updates will be made to Mayo Clinic Laboratories Encephalopathy Autoimmune Evaluation, Serum, panel:

 

Additions:

  • Test component Tripartite Motif-Containing Protein 46 (TRIM46) IgG, Tissue Immunofluorescence, Serum (test ID T46IS) (CPT 86255) will be added to the panel.
  • Test component Phosphodiesterase 10A (PDE10A) IgG, Tissue Immunofluorescence, Serum (test ID PDEIS) (CPT 86255) will be added to the panel.
  • Test component Dipeptidyl-Peptidase-Like Protein-6 (DPPX) Antibody, Cell Binding Assay, Serum (test ID DPPCS) (CPT 86255) will be added to the panel.
  • Test component IgLON Family Member 5 Antibody, Cell Binding Assay, Serum (test ID IG5CS) (CPT 86255) will be added to the panel.
  • Reflex test Tripartite Motif-Containing Protein 46 (TRIM46) IgG, Cell Binding Assay, Serum (test ID T46CS) (CPT 86255) will be performed automatically at an additional charge if indicated.
  • Reflex test Tripartite Motif-Containing Protein 46 (TRIM46) IgG, Tissue Immunofluorescence Titer, Serum (test ID T46TS) (CPT 86256) will be performed automatically at an additional charge if indicated.
  • Reflex test Phosphodiesterase 10A (PDE10A) IgG, Tissue Immunofluorescence Titer, Serum (test ID PDETS) (CPT 86256) will be performed automatically at an additional charge if indicated.

 

Deletions:

  • Test component Dipeptidyl-Peptidase-Like Protein-6 (DPPX) Antibody, Immunofluorescence, Serum (test ID DPPIS) (CPT 86255) will be removed from the panel.
  • Test component IgLON Family Member 5 Antibody, Immunofluorescence, Serum (test ID IG5IS) (CPT 86255) will be removed from the panel.

 

Note that DPPCS and IG5CS will become always performed panel components instead of potential reflex tests.
