REVISED REFERENCE RANGES

 

Effective September 8, 2022, the MLabs Clinical Core Laboratory will be updating the reference ranges for Anion Gap and Alkaline Phosphatase to reflect the values seen in a normal population post implementation of Atellica CH Analyzers.

 

Anion Gap

 

Anion Gap is a component of the Electrolyte Panel (order code LYTES), Renal Function Panel (order code RENAL), Basic Metabolic Panel (order code BASIC), and Comprehensive Panel (order code COMP). Note that the Anion Gap is a calculated value and is not orderable individually.

 

New Reference Range: 4 – 12 mmol/L
