Michigan Medicine Laboratories Special Chemistry Laboratory will begin offering Phospholipase A2 Receptor by ELISA, effective March 8, 2022.  This test will replace Cincinnati Children’s 8193540 (order code CPLA2). 

 

Collection Instructions:  Collect specimen in an SST tube.  Centrifuge, aliquot 0.5 mL (minimum 0.25 mL) of serum into a plastic vial, and freeze.  Specimens may be stored refrigerated if received by the testing laboratory within 48 hours of collection.

 

Reference Range: <14 RU/mL Negative; 14 – 19 RU/mL Borderline; >19 RU/mL Positive.
