Effective February 15, 2022, the MLabs Immunology Laboratory will change manufacturers for the Infectious Mononucleosis assay reagent due discontinuation of the product by the current manufacturer. This change will result in a change to the specimen collection and handling requirements. 

Collection Instructions: Collect specimen in an SST (preferred) or red top tube.  Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and freeze.  Specimens may be stored refrigerated if received in the testing laboratory within 48 hours of collection; otherwise, serum must be aliquoted and frozen.
