Effective February 2, 2022, Mayo Medical Laboratories has discontinued the Syphilis Total Antibody (SYPHN) assay due to manufacturer reagent back order. The recommended alternative test is Syphilis IgG Enzyme Immunoassay (NSYPH). There will be no change to price, fee code, or CPT code for this assay.

 

Collection Instructions: Collect specimen in an SST tube. Aliquot 0.6 mL (minimum 0.5 mL) of serum into a plastic vial and freeze.
