Effective December 7, 2021, Immunoglobulin D Quantitation (IGDS) is down and MLabs will offer Immunoglobulin D (FIMMD) s the replacement test per Mayo Medical Laboratories.

 

Collection Instructions: Collect approximately 3 mL of whole blood in a serum separator tube (SST) or red top vacutainer. Centrifuge and aliquot the serum into a plastic vial within 2 hours of collection. Ship the specimen refrigerated.

 

Methodology: Nephelometry

 

Analytic Time: 1-3 days, M-S set up

 

Reference Range:  ≤15.3 mg/dL
