Effective July 13, 2021, MLabs will be discontinuing Clostridium difficile by EIA (CDIFF) test and replacing it with Clostridium difficile by PCR (PCRCD) testing.

 

Collection Instructions: Please collect 5 mL liquid stool in a stool collection container. Ship the specimen Frozen (preferred) or refrigerated.

Methodology: PCR

 

Analytic Time: 1 Day, reflexes to EIA 8 Hrs
