Effective May 12, 2021, MLabs will discontinue Blastomyces Antigen, Urine (FBMU) per Mayo Medical Laboratories. MLabs will replace the test with Blastomyces Ag Quantitative, urine (MVBAU) to be sent to MiraVista. 

 

Collection Instructions:  Please collect 5 mL of urine in a urine collection container. Ship the specimen refrigerated to MLabs.

 

Test Analysis:               TAT 5days

 

Methodology:  Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA)
