Effective April 5, 2021 MLabs will replace the Hepatitis B e Antibody (AHBE) test with the Hepatitis B e Antibody (AHBED) test. The new test will be a group test to include Hepatitis B e Antibody (Total), Index and Hepatitis B e Antibody (Total), Qualitative.  The methodology has changed from ELISA to Chemiluminescent Immunoassay methodology.
