Effective March 22, 2021, MLabs will discontinue Lysosome (Muramidase), Plasma (MUR) and replace it with Lysosome (Muramidase), Plasma (MURA) per Mayo Medical Laboratories.

 

Collection Instructions: Collect approximately 4 mL of whole blood in a lavender top EDTA vacutainer. Centrifuge and aliquot plasma into a plastic vial within two hours of collection. Freeze specimen and ship frozen.  

 

Methodology:  Turbidimetric

 

Test Analysis: Mon - Fri, 2 days

 

Reference Range:        

 

≥ 12 months of age 2.6 - 6.0 mcg/mL

 

Reference range has not been established for ages < 12 months.
