Effective March 1, 2021, MLabs will offer Intact Fibroblast Growth Factor 23 (IFG23) testing via Mayo medical Laboratories.

 

Collection Instructions: Collect 3 mL of whole blood in a serum separator tube (SST). Centrifuge and aliquot serum into a plastic vial. Ship the specimen refrigerated.  

 

Methodology:  Chemiluminescence Based Quantitative Sandwich Immunoassay

 

Test Analysis: Test performed on Wednesday, 1-9 days turnaround time

 

Reference Range:        

 

Pediatric (<18 yrs):  ≤52 pg/mL

Adults (≥18 yrs):  ≤59 pg/mL
